We travelled by bus into the City of Sheffield to have a look at some of the landmarks. We saw The Cathedral, The City Hall, The Golden Postbox and we even had a walk around The Winter Gardens. We saw lots of other Sheffield landmarks too.

We had a great session in the forest with Shayne. We lit a bonfire and enjoyed hot chocolate and popcorn, we even cooked the popcorn on the fire! The week before we used plastic bottles to create our own fireworks and we had fun launching them into the air.

There are some amazing prizes to be drawn on out Number Day on Friday 7th February. Take a look at this impressive collection. Don’t forget your fancy dress number costumes on the day.
Well done to all the children who have received Gold Awards so far this half term. It is such a proud moment to be able to give these out in assembly. Keep up the good work Wise Owls and you could be next.

Once again the Wise Owls tried really hard in their activities.

Keep going Wise Owls. You can do it.
Have a great weekend.
Mr. Riley
Today we introduced the Wise Owls to Mini Athletics.

We practised two different activities linked to Athletics. Over the next few weeks we will continue to explore various Athletics games developing team work by working with other children.
Why not ask your child all about their PE lesson today.
Mr. Riley
Today the Year Ones have been learning how to stay safe on the roads. We have been practising how to cross the road safely using different crossings. We have learnt the Green Cross Code; ‘stop, look, listen, think, hold hands’.

As part of our learning about Spring, we made some gorgeous blossom trees.

Well done to Yasmin and Sahar for achieving a Gold Award this week. Sahar is becoming much more independent with her writing and Yasmin is showing beautiful presentation in all of her books. Keep up the good work girls. We are very proud of you!
