Follow the link to play a game called Hit the Button. How fast can you find your doubles up to 10? If you find that easy, you can try a harder level. I know Wise Owls like tricky maths! 😃

Good Morning Everyone,
Whilst we are off school, it is very important to stay fit and healthy. Exercise is very good for you as we have learnt already in Science. It helps keep your heart and lungs healthy, makes your muscles strong and releases endorphins that make you feel good and happy.
I am just about to start my exercise with some HIIT training.
I’ve found a video of HIIT for kids for you to try at home:
Or you could try exercising with Joe Wicks:

Choose one that you like or you could do both. Remember playing football in your garden, skipping, dancing, hula hooping, bat and balls, walking and jogging are all types of exercise too 😃
We have been learning all about different animals and whether they are a fish, bird, reptile, amphibian, mammal or insect. We have also learnt that carnivores eat meat, herbivores eat plants and omnivores eat meat and plants.
In ICT we have learnt how to insert a picture from the internet, resize it and add some text.
Now let’s  try and put this knowledge and skills together. Some of you have already tried this at school. Now you can choose a different animal! If you don’t have a computer then you can still draw your animal and write about it. I would love to see this. If you do have a computer then follow these instructions.
1. First open up Microsoft word.

2: Next click on insert then online pictures.

3: After that choose an animal and type it in the bing image search. Then press search.

4: Next click on the picture you want and then press insert.

5: When you have your picture you can click on the corner to resize it.

6: Finally click under the picture and write some amazing facts about your animal.
Remember to use the internet or ask a grown up if you are unsure which group your animal belongs to or what it likes to eat. You could even send me an email and I can help you: swalesk@pyebank.sheffield.sch.uk

Good Morning,
Practise counting in 2’s, 5’s and 10’s. Use the song to help you. If you can count forwards, then have a go at counting backwards. Then see if you can copy the number sequences and put in the missing numbers. Don’t forget to comment on the blog or email your answers so I can see your amazing learning!

Hi everyone,
Hope you are all well. Just a quick post to remind you that I am here if you would like to get in touch. My email is on the letter I handed out. I would love to hear about all the great learning and activities you are doing at home. I went for a nice walk this evening. I walked across the fields and around the pond. It was lovely to get some fresh air.
I will set you some little challenges to do over the next few weeks. I’d love to see photographs of what you’ve been getting up to or you could comment on the blog. I’ll blog any learning that I get from you. I’ll set your first challenges tomorrow.Â
Keep in touch
Miss you all and your families.

In RE this week we talked all about Holy Week. We learned that Jesus was made to carry his cross up a big hill and that when he died it went dark and there was an earthquake. His body was placed in a tomb. On Easter Sunday his friends went to the tomb and saw that Jesus was gone! His friend Mary saw Jesus, he had come back to life.

This week we continued with our learning about The City of Sheffield in ICT. We used the app Google Earth to have a look at the different landmarks that we visited on our trip to the city.
